I was beyond elated when Christian and Brisa reached out about a maternity session. It is wild to think how long I have known Brisa, from photographing her graduation photos, to their engagement, and now witnessing them step into this next chapter as a growing family with their sweet pup, Shadow.
When we first brainstormed together, they shared their vision of centering the session around a picnic to honor their baby’s nickname, “Blueberry.” One of my favorite parks was the perfect fit, especially with the tall winter grass adding such a soft, romantic feel to the setting.
Brisa chose two stunning dresses for the session, each elegant in its own way. Her lacy gown glowed beautifully in the sunset, and we were lucky enough to catch the dreamy winter dusk colors as they changed into their second look. It was a session filled with anticipation for what is to come, and I am truly honored to have captured yet another milestone with this wonderful couple.
