I was ecstatic to work with the Yen family again this year! Jeanie and her family were blessed with another little girl so they wanted to capture some maternity photos before she entered the world! It was the perfect fall afternoon to capture some portraits as the sun was setting so beautifully. Jeanie GLOWED in the light. Fun fact, this session was captured two days before Jeanie gave birth. I was able to visit them two weeks afterwards to photograph some newborn photos so stay tuned for part two of their family session!
What a privilege it was to capture Garrison and Laura’s engagement at Jennifer’s Gardens. It was the perfect proposal, intimate and sweet, and despite the weather forecast being cloudy and rainy, we were blessed with the most beautiful sunset. They were such naturals in front of the camera. I just loved how tenderly Garrison treated Laura and the sweetest moments that reflected their joy. Congratulations, Garrison and Laura!
It couldn’t have been more fun photographing Christina and Danny’s engagement session. They were recently engaged when Danny flew in to Austin to propose to Christina. Their summer session took place at Lady Bird Lake because the couple wanted their photos to reflect Austin’s natural yet urban styles, the city where their story began. Despite it being a ridiculously hot day (thank you, Texas), we were blessed with such gorgeous lighting. Everything just fell into place, and I appreciated seeing Christina and Danny ease into their session more comfortably and naturally. I loved their quirks, giddiness, sarcasm, and everything in between. It was fun to simply capture them and let the sunset guide us.
What a beautiful day. From start to finish, I could tell how much Diana and Matt love and are loved by their community and families. It was a day full of celebration, and I could tell that they planned their wedding exactly how they would want it. The spring air was crisp and bright, and I fell absolutely in love with the new Fairmont Hotel in Austin. Matt and Diana are both very relaxed people, and it really came through during their wedding. It was full of laughter, happy tears, and joyous worship. Even the little details were incredibly meaningful and special! Fun fact - Diana’s wedding dress was designed by one of her bridesmaids! Overall, it was a perfect day, reflective of Diana’s spunky sweet spirit, Matt’s calm steady nature, and everything in between. Cheers!
