There’s something so special about reconnecting with couples whose stories I’ve had the honor of documenting before. I first photographed Megan & Binet during their intimate wedding during the pandemic, and being invited back to capture this next milestone felt incredibly meaningful.
We started the session at one of my favorite gardens, where the light casted the dreamiest glow over us. Their connection was effortless, and I could feel the immense love they already have for this baby woven into every frame.
For their second look, we made our way to the river, where the surroundings became even more lush and vibrant. It was the perfect contrast to the pastel palette we had at the garden.
Getting to witness and document love as it grows in seasons—through vows, through waiting, through new beginnings—is one of the greatest joys of this work. I’m so excited for this growing family and the beautiful life they’re building together.
